Creative Direction

Every good graphic design starts with a pen & paper.  Before we start a project we take the notes and initial ideas from our client meetings and start to think of the the new web design project from a creative perspective.  This involves brainstorming the brief with our design team in Galway and thinking of the best creative and innovative design concepts to deliver a great new website to our customers .   Our creative director sketches out concepts, creates hand drawn illustrations, and hand draws wireframe diagrams which are then taken to the graphic design phase.

Design

Design

The graphic design phase is done after the Creative Direction.  This involves creating a mock up of the web design, taking client feedback on the graphics and layout and creating the final phase designs. Once all elements of the graphic design of the website have been signed-off by the client, our developers take the designs and the web development process commences.  We design and develop everything from scratch and never use templates, or stock designs.

They also wanted to re-enforce the ida that each one had core roots in Search Engine Optimization and helping helping business to succeed. We took the approach of making the site simple, friendly, approachable and knowledgable.

We were approached by PhysioCare group to produce website that reflected the quality and nature of their business, while catering for ease of access and improved navigation. We completely redesigned and rebuilt their entire site of over 100 pages. We also commissioned the production of the video content. We feel this has brought the site to a world class level and also gives the users an insight into the approach and quality of services offered by the PhysioCare clinics.

Ennis Braces

We met with the owner of Ennis Braces, Dr. Jeeves Kochhar, and immediately established that he wanted a site that moved like no other Orthodontic site ever made. The spare, clean lines of the site are complemented by interactive hanging icons and custom child friendly animations to appeal to the younger patients of the clinic while still retaining an overall professional appeal. The Ennis Braces site is built in flash, with the CMS duties being handled by our Ammotio platform.

Best Baby

This site is currently under development. The design brief was to create a strong brand behind the BestBaby name and replicate the real world baby shopping experience through the website. The look and feel is cute and cuddly with lots of large images that help engage users with the end goal of enjoying the shopping experience much like they would in their local baby shop.

Busker Brownes' is one of Galway's largest and most popular bars. Armour were tasked with building a website that stood out from its competitors and appealed specifically to the clientele. The history of the premises needed to be captured and compliment what is a very modern interior. We chose Flash as the platform, as it offered a more immersive and engaging user experience, and allowed us to mimic the look of the pub through the site.

Tempo Antiques is a family-run antique business in Galway, Ireland. The client was looking for a visually strong site that allowed them to easily manage and showcase the products they supply while simaltaneously putting forward a clear aesthetic and branding that represented their business.

The brief was to create a highly visual site highlighting the comedian's work in a humorous and interactive manner. Using Flash allowed us to bring the design to life. This site is held locally as the main site has been changed, we have maintained the site as a portfolio piece and example of our work.

The brief for Coyotes was to create a website that reflected the cowboy themed nature of the Coyotes brand. The site contains many engaging features that help to add a certain amount of humor and intertactivity to the user experience. The web design was created in conjunction with another friendly local design agency. Although the main site has since changed, we have maintained the original site as a portfolio piece.

Armour Interactive was responsible for the Flash build and animation of BrownSugar website. The design was created by another friendly local design agency. The interactive design utilises a blend of animation and highly visual backgrounds that help to make it a unique and beautiful site. This site was shortlisted for a Schwarzkopf award.
